Product review : Naturals by Watsons Aloe Vera Hair & Scalp Tonic (Malaysia)

 Hey there,

I have been dealing with itchy, oily scalp for years now. And there has not been a single shampoo product that I have not tried in order to reduce my hair problems.

Imagine my surprise when the Watsons clerk told me that since I naturally have oily scalp, the problem does not lie with the shampoo I used, but instead how I treat it. She suggested to me this product and ask me to try at least for a week and see how it goes. And wow, it really surpasses my imagination.

First stop, basic introduction.

On first day of trying it, let me be honest, I will frankly say that I am very skeptical with it. For me, it seems that the clerk is just trying to increase her sale or something. But I was at my end point, really considered going bald (since we were in cmco and all), so I was like, why not just try it?

The thing is quite confusing because the nozzle (?? is that what it is called?), the thing won't really like open, instead its like you have to rotate it. But I mean, I just go with it, what else am I supposed to do. Of course I learnt later on that you have to turn it sideways instead of up straight like I did for  a good two weeks like below.

So let me just jump to my experience with the product. I have been using this product for a bout two months now, and my scalp has never been happier. I swear, this works a wonder.
First apply was meh, not much to feel, and not much change. Third day applying it, it starts to work and I no longer feel itchy. And so on and so forth. I tried not using it for a few days just to see how my scalp will react without it, and it was actually okay for a good 8 days before it starts to itch again. So I guess, I can still be in a situation where I don't have to fully depend on it and apply it every day as if my life is on the line. Not to forget the fact that it is super affordable and accessible.

Negative side of this is only one in my case. That is, it causes my hair to become somehow stiff and a bit oily if I use it and sweat with it on my hair. And since, I sweat a lot, that means, I can't wear it to go out for an outing or any other occasion. So I use it when after I shower in the late afternoon, as something that I use to go to bed with.

So yeah, that's my honest review on the Naturals by Watsons Aloe Vera Hair & Scalp Tonic. If there are any extra tips that you know, please don't be shy to share with me as I am someone who is eager to learn. Thank you!
